Tormented Souls
Project Summary
Tormented Souls is moving from video game to screen, with ZQ Entertainment, Prime Universe Films, and Longevity Pictures acquiring exclusive film and television rights to the survival horror franchise from indie developer Dual Effect. ZQ Entertainment is financing development and co-financing production, with Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe and Ara Keshishian of ZQ Entertainment producing. The original game, released in 2021, is a third-person survival horror title in the style of classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill, following a protagonist investigating the disappearance of twin girls in a mansion-turned-hospital. The project is in early development, with no production timeline, director, or writer yet attached.
