Sweet Spot

Sweet Spot is an erotic thriller spec script that Paramount Primal has preemptively acquired from the writing team of Nic Curcio and Kirby Gladstein. The project marks another acquisition for Paramount's new genre label, led by producers J. D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules, known for Barbarian, Weapons, and Companion. Plot details remain under wraps, and no director or cast has been attached at this early stage. Curcio and Gladstein previously collaborated on the indie horror film Play House, which premiered at Fantastic Fest. The duo are Los Angeles-based filmmakers who began writing together in 2023. Sweet Spot represents Paramount Primal's continued focus on smartly budgeted films across horror, thriller, and genre spaces.
