Project Summary
Pluribus returns to Apple TV+ for its second season, with creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan reuniting with star Rhea Seehorn after their acclaimed collaboration on Better Call Saul. The post-apocalyptic science fiction drama is produced by High Bridge Productions, Bristol Circle Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Television. Production on Season 2 is scheduled to begin in late October 2026, with filming returning to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the first season was shot. The new season continues Carol Sturka's fight against the collective consciousness that has overtaken humanity, with a customized virus threatening the remaining immune individuals. Gordon Smith and Alison Tatlock return as executive producers alongside Gilligan, with the writers' room having completed the season arc and the first two scripts. Apple TV+ renewed the series for a second season before the first season premiered in November 2025.
