Reading Rainbow - Craft Kids & Library Kids

A creation of Buffalo Toronto Public Media (BTPM), Reading Rainbow premiered in 1983 as a wildly successful approach for using television to inspire children's love of reading and build lasting connections between kids and books. Renewing its mission for a new generation, the program is back with a new digital platform and a new host, social media librarian Mychal Threets (known as Mychal the Librarian on social media). The series will have its initial exhibition on YouTube (Reading Rainbow channel), Sony Kids channel, and Kidzuko. Shoots in August 2026 across Los Angeles County and Irvine, CA.
