Sony Pictures Television – Kids (legally Silvergate Media Limited, formerly trading as Silvergate Media) is a British-American multi-award-winning kids entertainment company and division of Sony Pictures Television that owns, develops, produces, and licenses world-class children's television brands and intellectual property. Founded in 2011 by Waheed Alli and William Astor and acquired by Sony Pictures Television in December 2019 for US$195 million, the company is best known for franchises including Octonauts, Hilda, Peter Rabbit, Sunny Day, The Creature Cases, and SuperKitties. It operates offices in New York, Culver City (Los Angeles), and London, distributing its animated programming globally through major streaming services and broadcast networks.
