Danielle Pretsfelder Demchick is a New York/Hoboken-based casting director and founder of DPD Casting, an independent shingle she launched in April 2022 after over 14 years as an in-house casting director at Nickelodeon. Specializing in kids, family, animation, voiceover, live action, podcasts, branded content, and theater, her client roster has included Nickelodeon, HBO Max, and Marvista Entertainment. She serves as Co-VP of Advocacy for the Casting Society of America (CSA), sits on the boards of both the CSA and Casting Society Cares, acts as a faculty advisor for Disability Belongs (f.k.a. RespectAbility), and serves on the Actor's Fund's Looking Ahead Advisory Board. She is also pursuing a master's degree in Disability Studies at the City University of New York, with a fierce commitment to inclusive and accessible casting.
