YouTube TV

YouTube TV is an American subscription over-the-top streaming television service operated by Google through its subsidiary YouTube. Launched on April 5, 2017, the virtual multichannel video programming distributor (vMVPD) offers live linear channel feeds and on-demand content from more than 100 television networks — including affiliates of ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, The CW, and PBS — plus over 30 OTT-originated services and a cloud-based unlimited DVR. As of November 2025, YouTube TV has surpassed 10 million subscribers, cementing its position as the leading live TV streaming service and primary cable-TV replacement in the United States.
