Project Summary
A Poison Ivy television series is in early development at HBO and DC Studios, with Lauren LeFranc attached as producer. LeFranc, who created and ran HBO's The Penguin, would serve strictly in a producing capacity rather than as writer or showrunner. The project has not yet been greenlit by the network, and no writers or cast members are currently attached. The series is being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Studios, and would exist as a standalone project outside of director Matt Reeves' Batman universe that includes The Penguin and The Batman films. After being on hold for months during the Paramount and Warner Bros. merger, the project is reportedly moving forward again following the merger's October 2026 completion.
