One Italian Summer

One Italian Summer is a feature film adaptation of Rebecca Serle's bestselling novel, now in development at Paramount Pictures with a targeted theatrical release for Mother's Day weekend 2028. Brie Larson is attached to star as Katy Silver and executive produce, with Harry Bradbeer directing. Temple Hill Entertainment is producing the project, with additional executive producers including Serle and David Stone of TFC Productions. Set against the backdrop of Positano and the Amalfi Coast, the story follows a woman who, after losing her mother, travels to Italy and mysteriously encounters her mother as a young woman, offering an opportunity to understand her in an entirely new light. The project was acquired by Paramount in 2023 and is moving toward pre-production.
