Project Summary
The next Jason Bourne film is taking shape with Matt Damon in discussions to reprise his role as the amnesiac assassin and Edward Berger attached to direct. Berger, whose credits include All Quiet on the Western Front and Conclave, is collaborating with Damon to develop a story that honors the original trilogy. The project is in early development at Universal Pictures, with both Damon and Berger emphasizing the importance of finding fresh angles rather than retreading familiar ground. Production Weekly has listed the project under the working title The Bourne Dilemma. While no production schedule has been confirmed, Damon recently indicated they have a line of sight on how to crack the story, suggesting momentum is building after years of starts and stops.
