Deep End

Deep End is a feature film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's instant bestselling romance novel, currently in development at Netflix. Laura Kosann has been tapped to write the screenplay. The producing team includes Shawn Levy and Dan Levine through 21 Laps Entertainment, alongside Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan from Unwell Productions. Hazelwood will executive produce, with Matthew Janzen also executive producing for Unwell Productions and Emily Morris and Emily Feher overseeing for 21 Laps. Published in 2025 by Berkley, the novel follows a competitive diver and an ace swimmer whose relationship defies boundaries. Netflix secured the rights in a major pre-publication deal, underscoring the streamer's continued investment in the BookTok romance space and New Adult adaptations.
