Wildwood

Wildwood is a comedy series in development at FX and 20th Television from BAFTA Award-winning creator Lisa McGee, marking her first project set outside the UK. The show follows a group of Irish college students who arrive in Wildwood, New Jersey, during the summer of 2000 for what they hope will be a quintessential American summer adventure. McGee serves as creator and executive producer on the project, which won out in a competitive bidding process between networks. The series is described as a spiritual successor to McGee's hit show Derry Girls, transporting her signature comedic voice from 1990s Northern Ireland to the neon-lit boardwalks of the Jersey Shore at the turn of the millennium.
