FX Networks, LLC is an American media company founded in 1994 and a subsidiary of Disney Entertainment Television (The Walt Disney Company), built around the cable channels FX, FXX, and FX Movie Channel (FXM), plus its in-house studio FX Productions (FXP). A multiplatform brand that develops, produces, and markets original programming for Hulu and the FX/FXX linear channels in the U.S., and Disney+ internationally, FX is widely regarded as prestige basic cable's defining brand, known for critically acclaimed hits including Shōgun, The Bear, American Horror Story, Fargo, The Shield, and Justified. Under Chairman John Landgraf, FX won a record 36 Emmy Awards at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards — more than any other network or streamer — and Shōgun became the most-watched program in FX's 30-year history.
