Project Summary
Wildman is a horror-action spec script that has been acquired by Badlands, the genre label run by Scott Strauss under Thunder Road Pictures. Written by Texas-based screenwriter Jacob Rainer, the project emerged from the Blood and Ink horror screenplay contest run by Carson Reeves on Scriptshadow. net. The script caught the attention of manager Jake Wagner at Alibi Entertainment, leading to Rainer's first screenwriting deal. Reeves is attached as executive producer. Badlands, an arm of the Thunder Road banner behind the John Wick franchise, is backed by Renegade Capital and focuses on genre films. The project is currently in early development with no production timeline, director, or cast attached.
