When In Rome

When In Rome is a television adaptation of Sarah Adams' popular book series, recently acquired by Rebelle Media and MGM Television. The series is set in Rome, Kentucky, and centers on Amelia Rose, known as Rae Rose to her fans, a burned-out pop princess who takes an impromptu vacation to the small Kentucky town instead of the Italian capital. The romance-focused project was announced by Rebelle Media co-founder Amanda Palley at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Rebelle Media, founded by Laura Lewis and recently rebranded as a romance-driven studio, is developing the adaptation with MGM Television as part of their first-look deal. The producers emphasized their excitement about bringing the small-town ensemble cast to life for television audiences.
