Project Summary
Wheel of Misfortune marks Tubi's first UK exclusive creator series under its Tubi for Creators initiative. The show stars Paul Wood and Paul Klein, known as Woody & Kleiny, football freestylers who rose to fame on Britain's Got Talent and have built a massive online following with nearly 16 million YouTube subscribers and over five million Instagram followers. The series will feature the duo spinning a wheel and completing various forfeits ranging from hilarious to brutal to downright ridiculous challenges. This represents Woody & Kleiny's first television commission after years of self-publishing digital content. Tubi ordered the series as part of its expansion into creator-led programming, following the success of similar initiatives in the United States with creators like Joey Graceffa, KevOnStage, and Rock Squad. The commission reflects Tubi's strategy to bring digital-first talent to its streaming platform's audience of over 100 million monthly active users.
