Project Summary
Fox Entertainment Studios and Endemol Shine North America are producing an untitled scripted horror series inspired by the Fear Factor franchise, marking the first time an established unscripted television franchise has been adapted into original scripted content. The vertical video series will consist of 30 three-minute episodes created specifically for mobile-first audiences, reimagining the thrills and terror of Fear Factor as a fictional horror story. The narrative follows a practical-effects artist and her crew during prep week on a remote horror television set, where they unleash a haunted fortune-telling machine that forces them into personalized death trials. Thom Woodley and Andrew Beck are writing the series, with Gabriel Caste directing and Ian Nsenga and Yuliia Vyshnevska producing. The series will debut exclusively on Holywater Tech's My Drama platform, with Fox Entertainment Global handling worldwide distribution. This project represents My Drama's first move into scripted horror content and continues the expanding partnership between Fox and Holywater Tech.
