Project Summary
To Nicola, Love Peter is a commissioned factual drama for Channel 5, produced by Wonderhood Studios. The 90-minute special dramatizes the embezzlement scandal that destroyed one of Scotland's most prominent political figures. BAFTA-nominated director Misha Manson-Smith will helm the project, with a script by BAFTA-nominated writer Lucy Brydon. The drama reunites Channel 5 with Wonderhood Studios following their collaboration on Power: The Downfall of Huw Edwards. Drawing on evidence from Police Scotland and interviews with key figures, the project explores how the scandal derailed Scotland's independence movement and ended Sturgeon's political career.
