An untitled Rolling Stones biopic is in development at 101 Studios, the production company behind Yellowstone, Landman, and Mayor of Kingstown. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood reportedly finalized a deal with the Beverly Hills-based company in August 2026. The project is in its earliest stages, with no director attached and no casting underway. According to sources, the filmmakers are still determining which period of the band's six-decade career the film will cover and how the story will unfold. Jagger has indicated a preference for focusing on the band's early rise to fame in the 1960s, with actors in their twenties portraying the younger versions of the band members.
