The Long Now

The Long Now is a thriller series in development at Netflix, created and written by Semi Chellas, the Emmy-nominated writer and producer known for Mad Men and The Audacity. Netflix won a competitive bidding war for the project, which will be developed as an ongoing series with Chellas serving as showrunner. The series follows a man racing against time to solve his own murder, exploring themes of mortality and urgency. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan of Aggregate Films will executive produce the project, continuing their long-standing partnership with Netflix that includes Ozark, Black Rabbit, and Hit Man. The project is currently in development, with no production timeline or casting announced yet.
