The Last Person on Earth

The Last Person on Earth marks Apple TV+'s entry into the dating genre with an eight-episode documentary series. Relationship therapist and bestselling author Esther Perel leads the project alongside a team of matchmakers and therapists, pairing couples who appear to be opposites before sending them to remote romantic destinations around the world. The series is produced by London-based Boldprint Studios, the Fremantle-backed indie led by former Channel 4 entertainment boss Phil Harris. Dan Gray, Lou Hutchinson, and Harris serve as executive producers, with Josh Jacobs as series director and Olly Lambert directing. The project has been commissioned through Apple TV's Europe team under Jay Hunt. No production timeline or release date has been announced yet.
