Project Summary
Prime Video has acquired the rights to adapt Holly Black's bestselling Folk of the Air trilogy, partnering with Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions. The young adult fantasy series centers on Jude Duarte, a mortal girl raised in the dangerous High Court of Faerie after her parents' murder, where she must fight for power and respect while dealing with the cruel faerie prince Cardan Greenbriar. The source material includes three core novels—The Cruel Prince, The Wicked King, and The Queen of Nothing—published between 2018 and 2019. Black will produce alongside Scott Free Productions.
