Stink Eye (Malmirada) is the feature directorial debut of Colombian filmmaker Cristina Sánchez Salamanca, who gained attention with her short film Bebé at the 2022 Tribeca Festival. The drama centers on 13-year-old Nina, navigating the emotional fallout when her father leaves her mother for Belén, a striking model-influencer. Spanish actor Ester Expósito has signed a letter of intent to play the role of Belén. The project is being produced by Continente Pictures alongside Spain's Ringo Media and France's Dibona Films, with Duván Duque Vargas and Paola Pérez Nieto serving as producers. Goya-nominated cinematographer Gris Jordana is attached to shoot the film. The project is currently seeking co-production and financing partners at Madrid's Iberseries Co-Production and Financing Forum.
