School of the Americas

School of the Americas is a fiction series in development from co-directors Abner Benaim and Oscar Godoy, with Daniela Vega and Alfredo Castro attached to star. The series centers on a Panamanian-American human rights investigator who recognizes the signature of counterinsurgency doctrine taught at the notorious U. S. military training facility when evidence surfaces at a 1983 massacre site. When her investigation turns personal after an attempt on her life, she tracks four graduates across three continents to uncover what the School really taught and who still protects its legacy. La Panda Productions and Seedling Media Productions are producing, with the project selected for the Co-Production and Financing Forum at Iberseries & Platino Industria in Madrid. Principal photography is targeted for 2028, pending financing.
