Project Summary
Playing with Matches is a new unscripted social experiment series greenlit by Netflix. The show challenges couples to live together in a shared house while competing in a game of romantic deception — they must hide their own relationships while trying to identify which other participants are secretly together. Produced by British company Mettlemouse, the series is executive produced by Sarah Tyekiff and Shaun Parry, both with strong reality TV credentials including Love Island and The Honesty Box. The show joins Netflix's expanding unscripted slate alongside Temptation Island, Million Dollar Secret, Age of Attraction, and Love Is Blind.
