Perro Blanco, Perro Negro

Perro Blanco, Perro Negro is in development as an international drama series from AF Films and LatinWe, Sofia Vergara's production and talent management company. The project adapts Guillermo Arriaga's original screenplay—the basis for Alejandro González Iñárritu's acclaimed 2000 film Amores Perros—into long-form television. Arriaga will serve as creative advisor, shaping narrative direction and thematic continuity, while AF Films founder Frank Ariza produces. The series will revisit and expand the screenplay's thematic foundations of interconnected lives, moral fracture, and urban existence through a contemporary lens. AF Films and LatinWe are currently in early conversations with global platforms and partners for the project. No network, cast, or production timeline has been announced.
