Project Summary
Netflix, Will You Marry Me? is a 12-episode live unscripted series heading into production for a 2027 global launch. The interactive dating format hands total control to Netflix viewers, who will vote live on dates, eliminations, and ultimately which woman receives a televised marriage proposal. Workerbee and Initial, both Banijay UK production companies, are producing the series with executive producers Michelle Chappell and Rick Murray from Workerbee, alongside Katy Manley and Tamsin Dodgson from Initial. The format sees one man living in a custom-built house with a group of single women across four weeks of live episodes. The series was commissioned by Syeda Irtizaali, Netflix UK's Director of Unscripted Series, as part of the streamer's expansion into live entertainment. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2027.
