Project Summary
Moss is a 2D animated feature in development from Catalan director Judith Colell and Barcelona-based producer Imagic TV. The film follows Ana, a six-year-old girl who adopts an abandoned puppy named Moss on her birthday. When war erupts, the two are separated during bombings, and Moss becomes a street dog while Ana struggles to rebuild her life. Years later, both embark on a search for each other that symbolizes resilience, memory, and hope. Written by María Jaén and based on the prize-winning children's book by David Cirici, the project is a co-production between Imagic TV and Polish animation studio PFX, with Jordi B. Oliva producing. Filmax has acquired international sales rights and will introduce first-look images at Cannes' Marché du Film. The film has been pitched at multiple market forums including CEE Animation Forum, Asia TV Forum & Market, Cartoon Movie, Animation Production Days, Cinekid, and Platino Go to AFM, signaling active financing and partnership-building ahead of production.
