Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO

Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO is a new anime series scheduled for release in 2027, directed by Kenji Kamiyama of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The project was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 as part of the RG Project, a multimedia initiative from Bandai Namco Filmworks that includes the anime and the video game Gundam Rogue Orbit. The series is set in a new timeline called After Apocalypse, beginning in year A. A. 45, approximately 100 years before the events of the companion game. SOLA ANIMATION will handle animation production, with series composition by Kamiyama and SF setting supervision by Toh Enjoe. The project features Gundam design by Eiichi Shimizu, character design by Miyako Takasu, and music by Go Shiina.
