McQueen
Project Summary
McQueen is a feature film adaptation of James Phillips' West End play McQueen: or Lee and Beauty, currently in development at Radar Pictures. The project centers on fashion icon Lee Alexander McQueen during a single night in his London home as he struggles to create his next collection ahead of a critical investor pitch. When a mysterious young woman named Dahlia breaks into his townhouse to steal a dress and escape her own troubled life, McQueen finds himself intrigued by her raw honesty rather than calling the police. Screenwriter Zach Helm is adapting the script in collaboration with Phillips. The original 2015 West End production starred Stephen Wight as McQueen and Dianna Agron as Dahlia. Radar Pictures founder Ted Field is serving as executive producer, with Maria Frisk and Michael Napoliello attached as producers. The project was announced in late August 2026, with no production timeline or casting confirmed yet.
