Lust

Lust marks the feature directorial debut of Spencer Lackey, the New York City-based horror creator with over 7 million social media followers. Lackey wrote the screenplay and will direct, with Neon and Blumhouse Atomic Monster co-financing the project alongside Spooky Pictures. The producing team includes Steven Schneider for Spooky Pictures, Jason Blum and James Wan for Blumhouse Atomic Monster—seasoned horror veterans guiding Lackey's transition from short-form digital content to theatrical filmmaking. Plot details remain under wraps. Lackey built his reputation with original narrative-driven horror shorts and the Mike Flanagan-produced festival short You Are Here. The project joins Neon's recent strategy of backing digital creators making their feature debuts, following releases like Shelby Oaks and It Ends.
