Project Summary
Kill Current: A Jon Hendricks Thriller is a feature film adaptation of Oliver Lowe's upcoming novel, marking the first project from Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant's newly launched production banner, Two Dragonflies. Reeves will star as Jon Hendricks, a former CIA operative drawn back into the espionage world. The Arena, the independent studio led by former Lionsgate chief Erik Feig, has preemptively acquired and will finance and produce the project. Molly Stern and her publishing house Zando will executive produce. The source novel, the first in a planned thriller series, is slated for publication by Zando in May 2027. The film centers on themes of global supply chains, semiconductors, and technological warfare. No director has been attached, and production timelines have not been announced.
