Jogbra

Tyra Banks is developing a feature film about the three women who invented the Jogbra, the world's first sports bra, in 1977. Banks will produce and executive produce through her SMiZE Productions banner alongside Forbes Entertainment, and will also appear in the film in an unspecified role. Britt Brewer is writing the screenplay, based on a 2020 Forbes article by Maggie McGrath. Set against the backdrop of late-1970s Vermont, the film follows inventors Lisa Lindahl, Polly Smith, and Hinda Miller as they tackled the challenge of creating comfortable athletic wear for women. The project is currently in development, with the production team beginning the search for a director and cast for the main roles. Echo Lake Entertainment packaged the project.
