Project Summary
Billion Dollar Hash Hunt is in production for Crave, following the story of Billy Greer, a former All-American football player from Vermont who worked for a Dutch cartel known as The Octopus in the 1990s. Greer and his crew moved hundreds of tons of hashish from Pakistan to North America until his 1991 arrest with 54 tons of the drug. The three-part docuseries chronicles Greer's first-time effort to recover 62 tons of hash he never revealed to authorities. Production has wrapped in Vermont and is continuing in Quebec and Toronto. Alibi Entertainment produces alongside Bungalow Media and Deep Dive, with Blue Ant Rights handling distribution.
