Project Summary
Good Books is in early development as a television series from Pacesetter Productions and Kudos. The project is based on Tahmima Anam's forthcoming novel set in the publishing industry, which follows in the vein of her contemporary fiction work The Startup Wife. Anam, the Commonwealth Writers' Prize-winning author of A Golden Age and The Good Muslim, is adapting the material herself. Jessica Rhoades' Pacesetter Productions, known for Sharp Objects and Station Eleven, is partnering with UK-based Kudos, the company behind Broadchurch and Grantchester. A writer from Emily in Paris is also attached to the project. The novel itself has not yet been published, making this a very early-stage development with no network, production timeline, or casting announced.
