Counting Miracles is the latest Nicholas Sparks adaptation heading into pre-production at Amazon MGM Studios, with Tyler Nilson recently attached to write and direct. Alan Ritchson stars as Tanner Hughes, an Army Ranger whose journey to find his estranged father leads him to a small-town romance with a doctor and single mother, drawing him into the orbit of a reclusive man with a haunting past. Nilson, who co-directed The Peanut Butter Falcon and 2024's Los Frikis, brings his distinctive voice to the project.
