Project Summary
Born in the USA is a new docuseries greenlit by Netflix that takes viewers inside a busy maternity ward. The fixed-rig series has been in development over the last few years as producers secured exclusive access to the facility. The production is being handled by Wheelhouse, the unscripted production company behind Netflix's Million Dollar Secret and America's Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Executive producers include Kate Collier, Will Nothacker, and Courtney White, who serves as President of Wheelhouse. The series follows medical staff working around the clock, navigating medical drama and emotional moments as each unique labor sets the clock ticking. The project marks Netflix's latest collaboration with Wheelhouse, which has delivered multiple reality and documentary series for the streamer.
