Bad News Dads

Bad News Dads is a half-hour comedy-mystery series in early development at Apple TV+, starring and executive produced by James Marsden. Based on the upcoming novel by Adam Frost, the series follows Ben, a catcher on an inept men's recreational baseball team, who leads two of his teammates in an impromptu investigation after one player's wife dies under suspicious circumstances. Stephen Falk, creator of You're the Worst, will write, showrun, and executive produce the project. The series comes from Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, where Greg Berlanti maintains an overall deal. Additional executive producers include Adam Frost, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, and Robbie Rogers. The project continues Marsden's ongoing collaboration with Apple TV+ following his work on Your Friends & Neighbors and the upcoming action thriller Disavowed.
