Touch Grass

Touch Grass is a psychological horror feature film in development at Promise, the AI production studio co-founded by Dave Clark, who will direct the project. The film explores the dead internet theory through the story of a young woman who designs AI personalities for a mysterious tech company. When she uncovers a hidden world beneath the internet known as The Feed, she discovers a terrifying secret: copies of people are being built from their deepest desires. Chris White, executive producer of The Backrooms, is producing alongside Brad Miska, founder of Bloody Disgusting and co-creator of the V/H/S franchise, who is producing through his company Be Afraid Media. The project will employ a hybrid production model combining live-action performances, practical effects, traditional visual effects, and generative AI. Clark developed the original concept and brought it to White and Miska. Promise's co-founders George Strompolos and Jamie Byrne will executive produce alongside Clark.
