Project Summary
State of Emergency is a thriller entering pre-production with FilmNation Entertainment's genre label Infrared Pictures financing and launching international sales. Greg Yaitanes, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning director known for House of the Dragon and Presumed Innocent, will direct from a screenplay by Nick Luddington, a writer on Netflix's Arcane. Brittany O'Grady, who starred in The White Lotus, leads the cast as Jenna, a 911 dispatcher confronting both personal trauma and a citywide emergency. Sam Brown and Dustin Thomason are producing through their company Curiosity Media, reuniting with Yaitanes after their collaboration on Presumed Innocent. The film is set in Boston and expected to begin shooting in 2027, with the project being launched to buyers at the American Film Market in November 2026.
