Son of the Mob

Son of the Mob is a feature film adaptation of Gordon Korman's young adult novel for Red Sage Studios and Sun Distribution. Vince Marcello, director of Netflix's hit Kissing Booth trilogy, is set to direct and produce from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jay Arnold, his collaborator on the two Kissing Booth sequels. The romantic comedy follows Vince, a teenager trying to live a normal life despite being the son of a mob boss, whose worlds collide when he falls for the daughter of the FBI agent investigating his family. Production is slated to take place in Canada with Vancouver-based Brightlight Pictures. Red Sage Studios, founded by former Amazon MGM Studios International head James Farrell, operates in partnership with Sun Distribution Group and focuses on premium young adult feature storytelling adapted from popular source material.
