Founded in 2001 by Emmy-nominated producer Shawn Williamson, Brightlight Pictures Inc. is a Canadian independent film and television production company headquartered at The Bridge Studios in Burnaby, British Columbia. The company develops, packages, and produces independent feature films and television projects, having completed over 250 productions including White Noise, Colossal, Summer of '84, Disney's Descendants films, and series such as The Good Doctor, Upload, Firefly Lane, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, and Black Mirror: Common People. Brightlight has worked with major studios and networks including ABC, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Fox, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Television, Nickelodeon, and Disney+.
