Replacer

Replacer is a psycho-sexual horror film written by pop star Halsey and actor-director Avan Jogia, with Jogia making his feature directorial debut. The project launched sales at the Cannes 2026 market and is being produced by Kyle Mann of Independent Edge, Isabelle Deluce of Soft Focus Films, and Damiano Tucci of Getaway Entertainment, in association with Anarchists United. Lilly Wachowski serves as executive producer alongside Anthony Li, Lawrence Mattis, Sarah Flores, Christopher Renteria, Emily McCann Lesser, and Clay Epstein of Film Mode Entertainment. Halsey stars as Proxy, a DJ who meets an alluring artist and his group running an underground radio station in Montreal, where a hidden signal beneath the subway warps reality. The production is set to film in Montreal from late August through late September 2026, with CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group handling North American rights and Film Mode Entertainment managing international sales.
