Postmortem

Postmortem is a horror feature currently in post-production from Colombian genre filmmaker Andrés Beltrán, who wrote and directed the project. The film stars Odette Annable as Helena, a forensic medical investigator who, after losing her husband Richard, becomes dangerously obsessed with a new case that she believes offers a way to resurrect him. The ensemble includes Allegra Leguizamo, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Andres Londono, and Tony Revolori. Cinestesia Films is producing, with Jason Cherubini, Roberto Urbina, and Martin Ramos serving as producers. The film was shot in Bogotá, Colombia, and Sublimity Entertainment is handling international sales at the TIFF market in September 2026. Beltrán previously directed the Shudder release Quicksand and the Colombian horror film Tarumama.
