NCIS: New York

NCIS: New York is currently in production in New York City for a fall 2026 premiere on CBS. The series marks LL Cool J's return to the franchise as Sam Hanna, the role he originated on NCIS: Los Angeles, now leading a new field office in his hometown. Scott Caan joins as NCIS Special Agent Nick Schaeffer, playing a new character despite having appeared in the NCIS universe during a Hawaii Five-0 crossover. The ensemble includes Jennifer Beals as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robyn Wells, along with Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper, and Devin Druid rounding out the team. Byron Balasco serves as showrunner, with R. Scott Gemmill—who helmed NCIS: Los Angeles for seven seasons—writing the pilot and executive producing alongside LL Cool J and Jason Barrett. CBS Studios is producing, with principal photography underway in New York through summer 2026 for an October 6 debut.
