CBS Studios

CBS Studios, Inc. is an American television production company and one of the world's leading suppliers of entertainment programming, with nearly 50 live-action, animated, and unscripted series in various stages of production across broadcast, cable, streaming services, and other platforms. A subsidiary of CBS Entertainment Group within Paramount Skydance Corporation, the studio produces genre-defining franchises including NCIS (officially the world's #1 television franchise across both broadcast and streaming, spanning over 1,000 episodes), the Star Trek universe, CSI, and award-winning late-night and daytime programming. Formed in January 2006 as CBS Paramount Television, renamed CBS Television Studios in 2009, and rebranded as CBS Studios in 2020, it serves as the primary studio supplier for the CBS Television Network and also produces content for Paramount+, Netflix, Apple TV+, and other outlets. The studio also develops and co-produces local-language and international content including titles for the BBC and global audiences.
