Mini War

Mini War is an R-rated comedy feature that reunites the creative team behind cult favorite Grandma's Boy for a new theatrical release. Joel David Moore directs from a script he co-wrote with Nick Swardson and Allen Covert, marking a reunion twenty years after the original film. Luke Wilson stars as Joe, a stoner who unexpectedly inherits his late uncle's mini golf course and hopes to sell it while preserving his uncle's legacy. His plans collide with rival Darren (Nick Swardson), who owns the go-kart track across the street and wants to expand his racing business. Vanessa Hudgens plays Olivia, who runs a hot-dog stand caught between the two feuding properties. The production is led by Jarod Einsohn and Moore through Balcony 9 Productions, with Level 1 Entertainment's Limor Hakim, Bill Todman Jr. , and Edward Milstein producing alongside Toric Films' David Wachs and Ojan Missaghi. The cast announcement signals active pre-production, with the team aiming to bring independent R-rated comedy back to theaters.
