Allen Stephen Covert (born October 13, 1964, West Palm Beach, FL) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer best known for starring in and co-writing Grandma's Boy (2006) and for his decades-long creative partnership with Adam Sandler, whom he met at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He served as Executive Producer at Happy Madison Productions across dozens of films from 1999 through 2023, departing after Leo. He is now producing the comedy series Meemaw starring Roseanne Barr, and is developing his own production company focused on theatrically released R-rated comedies. He also co-founded Cherry Tree Books, a children's eBook publisher.
