Project Summary
Laughing Matters (Vol. 7) is an all-new collection of songs and sketches inspired by the headlines, trends, and everyday moments everyone seems to be talking about. From the latest cultural obsessions to the quirks of life on the Suncoast, nothing is off limits in this fast-paced comedy revue that finds humor in the wonderfully ridiculous world we're all trying to navigate. Topics include artificial intelligence, shots to melt away the fat, pickleball, and traffic circles. Musical revues at Florida Studio Theatre are developed by an in-house team and held in an exquisite 19th century French cabaret setting. Productions function as new works in development and change as they rehearse. Rehearsals begin January 19, 2027, with previews February 10–11, 2027, opening February 12, 2027, and closing July 4, 2027.
