Project Summary
Ten years ago, Claire made her husband Ben a big promise: that one day, they would run in the Marine Corps marathon together. Time passed, they had a son, and old promises faded — there are mouths to be kissed and mouths to be fed. After Ben comes back from duty overseas, Claire soon finds herself a single mom; Ben is killed in an explosion, and Claire is numbed and crazed by grief. And then she thinks of a way to honor her sometimes maddening man: run alone in the Marine Corps marathon, with only Ben's memory to guide her through 26.2 miles of pain. The film is a SAG-AFTRA production shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, with a start date of October 27, 2026.
